Dr. Michael Woody, MBA

Founder & Principal Consultant

Dr. Woody brings a wealth of experience working across various demanding environments. His journey spans athletics, the US Army, government (city, state, and federal), entrepreneurship, education, and non-profits — each contributing to his deep understanding of unique workgroups and extreme personalities.

With 21 years in the US Army as an Army Ranger, Dr. Woody participated in several elite fighting units and successfully conducted missions in Panama, Antigua, Bosnia-Herzegovina, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq. His unique experience in decision-making, strategic management, teaching, and influencing others in high-performance environments expanded from ground operations to electronic warfare and leadership training with foreign and allied countries. He pioneered the Army's first large-scale Electronic Warfare capability for combating roadside bombs in Iraq.

Dr. Woody holds a doctorate from Temple University's Fox School of Business DBA program, with a dissertation focused on High-Performance Teams. His research led to the development of the Balanced Duality Model of High-Performance Teams — a framework that optimizes team performance by analyzing individual and group interpersonal relationships through the lens of organizational psychology, leadership, and behavioral economics.
